asked the Secretary of State for Defence (1) who was in command of the United States service men who apprehended demonstrators at Upper Heyford on 21 June;

(2) what instructions were given by Ministry of Defence officers to the United States service men who apprehended demonstrators at Upper Heyford on 21 June.

The trespassers were apprehended under the direction of the Ministry of Defence police.
