§ Mr. AncramI refer to the reply which I gave to the hon. Member for Glasgow, Maryhill (Mr. Craigen) on 13 June at column504. In 1980, there were 36 rent officers and five senior rent officers. The current strength comprises the full complement established in 1983 following a review of the anticipated requirements of the service; no alteration is currently envisaged.
