§ Mr. Cohenasked the Secretary of State for Employment if he has any plans to promote and extend the positive action programmes of the Greater London council covering recruitment, training, working conditions, working time, monitoring and complaint procedures referred to as of particular interest in the European Commission's working document on the promotion of positive action for women [COM (84) 234 final].
§ Mr. Alan ClarkI refer the hon. Member to the explanatory memorandum on the European Commission's proposal for a council recommendation on the promotion of positive action for women, signed and deposited in the Library of the House, on 20 June.
