§ Mr. Alan ClarkThe quota provisions of the Disabled Persons (Employment) Act 1944 apply to employers with twenty or more employees. On 1 June 1984, 42.4 per cent. of such employers in the area served by jobcentres in north Staffordshire were employing at least 3 per cent. of registered disabled people in their work force.
