asked the Secretary of State for Social Services (1) how many National Health Service beds there are in the Mersey regional health authority at the latest available date; and what were the figures for July 1979;

(2) how many National Health Service beds were administered by the Liverpool area health authority at the latest date; and what were the figures for July 1979.
