§ Mr. Freesonasked the Secretary of State for the Horne Department if he will make a statement on the circumstances surrounding the arrest of Mr. Bill Bush by the Metropolitan police in London on the morning of 26 June.
§ Mr. HurdThe Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis tells me that Mr. Bush was arrested on 26 June and questioned in connection with an investigation into an offence contrary to the Official Secrets Act 1911. He was later released. I understand that a report will be sent to the Director of Public Prosecutions.
