§ Mr. Tony Banksasked the Secretary of State for Transport what steps he is taking to ensure that the analysis of road accidents, the identification and treatment of accident black spots and the studies and campaigns on road safety matters currently carried out by the Greater London council will continue if the council is abolished; who will carry out this work; who will bear the cost; and how many extra staff will be required by the successor authority.
