§ 16. Mr. Dalyellasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food how many of his staff have been in the Falkland Islands carrying out work on grassland trials, tree growing, sheepmeat, wool production and salmon-ranching.
§ Mr. JoplingOne. The officer concerned is an agronomist who retired in November 1981 from my Department's agricultural development and advisory service. He has been working for the Falkland Islands Government since January 1982, having been seconded to the islands on four previous occasions between 1969 and 1980.
