HC Deb 04 July 1984 vol 63 c211W
Mr. William Ross

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what evidence he has of the numbers of deaths of British citizens in the Republic of Ireland in each year since 1969 which have arisen in consequence of the civil unrest in Northern Ireland.

Mr. Whitney

None. As is the case with a number of other countries, there is no provision made for the registration of deaths of British citizens at the British embassy in Dublin.
