§ 19. Mr. Proctorasked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry if he will list the quantity of imports of paper and board into the United Kingdom from the rest of the European Economic Community in each of the past five years; and if he will make a statement.
§ Mr. Kenneth BakerI will publish detailed figures in theOfficial Report. They show that imports from the European Community have gone up from 14 to 18 per cent. of total United Kingdom paper and board imports in the period 1979 to 1983. United Kingdom exports to the Community have also increased during this period.
