§ Mrs. Peacockasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer what plans he has to ensure that the recent mistakes in pay-as-you-earn codes and assessments will not happen again.
§ Mr. MooreThis year the Inland Revenue have introduced an improved system of checking work while it is in progress. The work to be checked includes PAYE codes and assessments and the new systems will allow supervisors to take corrective action where they find mistakes are being made.
