§ Mr. Peter MorrisonCurrent plans are for 291 places under the training opportunities scheme and 3,310 places under the youth training scheme in the Sandwell area in 1984–85. Decisions about training after March 1985 have not yet been taken.
The Manpower Services Commission's area office at Dudley is now considering the needs of the Sandwell area in the light of the adult training strategy. No decisions have yet been taken about pilot schemes.
