§ Mrs. Renée Shortasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will give his latest estimate of the total social security expenditure for 1984–85 in the light of his recent uprating statement, in a form compatible with the totals given in table:2.12 of the public expenditure White Paper (Cmnd. 9143-II).
