asked the Secretary of State for Energy what steps his Department's Energy Efficiency Office is taking to encourage investment in energy efficient equipment in industry.

The Energy Efficiency Office is running an active campaign to make top industrialists more aware of the excellent investment opportunities offered by energy efficiency measures. My fellow Ministers and I have personally addressed more than 7,000 senior executives at breakfast-time briefings up and down the country.
