asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer what estimate he has made of the net contribution that Great Britain will have to make to the European Economic Community in each of the next three years under the arrangements made at the Fontainebleau summit.

It is too early to give precise estimates of the effects of the arrangements negotiated at Fontainebleau, which will depend on the future level and composition of Community expenditure.
