§ Mr. Hunterasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department, further to his answer of 16 January, Official Report, c. 62–3, whether consultation with local authority associations concerning the draft guidance on shelter surveys has yet begun; and when he expects the consultation processes to be completed.
§ Mr. HurdThe local authority associations and the Greater London council were consulted in August 1981 on the draft guidance. The draft has been revised in the light of their comments and further work by the Home Office. It now forms part of the draft consolidated guidance under preparation and on which we expect to be able to consult the associations and the Greater London council in the early spring.
