Recruitment Premiums

asked the Secretary of State for Employment if, in order to encourage employers to create permanent new jobs for the long-term unemployed, the Government will extend the use of recruitment premiums or other employment subsidies.

No. I am not persuaded that this would be a cost-effective use of public resources.
