§ Mr. Nicholas EdwardsMy hon. Friend the Minister of State intends to convene a meeting in the near future with local authorities, statutory agencies, and representatives of industry and local business concerns to discuss ways of assisting development in the area and nearby. In addition to the continuing work of the Welsh Development Agency, the Development Board for Rural Wales and the Welsh Tourist Board, part of the area will also now be able to benefit from the restoration of access to the European regional development fund.
