Mr. John David Taylorasked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland if he is satisfied that the Royal Ulster 713W Constabulary and the Director of Public Prosecutions have sufficient staff engaged on the possibility of prosecutions following the death of a prison officer during the break-out from the Maze prison in September 1983.
§ Mr. ScottI am satisfied that the RUC has sufficient resources to deal with this matter, and I understand that my right hon. and learned Friend the Attorney-General, who superintends the work of the Director of Public Prosecutions (Northern Ireland), is satisfied about the latter's resources in this context.
