§ Sir Hector Monroasked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will publish a list, for the latest available year, of the historic buildings open to the public at a charge for which he is responsible, and, respectively, the number of rooms open, the number of full- and part-time staff employed, the annual cost of heat and light, the annual rent and rates, the annual cost of-repairs and maintenance and the aggregate of the three highest salaries.
§ Mr. MacfarlaneA list of all the historic monuments in the care of my right hon. Friend which are open to the public is already published. A list of charges is available on request to my Department.
I am writing to my hon. Friend as soon as the information which is readily available on the other aspects has been collated.
