asked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry if he will make a statement on the present position of footwear production in the United Kingdom.

Information on the sales of footwear is published quarterly in theBusiness Monitor, PQ 4510, and monthly in British Business. The most recent monthly article appeared in British Business for 6 January 1984, page 26. Copies of these publications are in the Library.
