§ Rev. William McCreaasked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland what is the number of young people currently serving on the young workers scheme in Northern Ireland; and whether any vacancies exist within the current budget.
§ Mr. Butler[pursuant to his reply, 23 January 1984]: During the current financial year grants under the young workers scheme have been approved for 6,478 young persons. Adequate resources are currently available to meet further applications for grant during the remainder of this financial year.
