Mr. Fisher

asked the Secretary of State for Defence (1) if Her Majesty's Government will propose the adoption by the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation of a strategy of non-retaliation against a nuclear strike until the source, nature, size and intention of the attack has been ascertained;

(2) if Her Majesty's Government will propose the adoption by the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation of a policy of no early first use of nuclear weapons;

(3) if Her Majesty's Government will propose the adoption by the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation of a policy of no first use of nuclear weapons.
