§ Mr. Greville Jannerasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what contributions the United Kingdom has made under the "pound for pound" scheme during each year since its inception; and what contributions he expects or intends to make under that scheme during 1984.
§ Mr. Raison[pursuant to the reply, 19 January 1984, c. 302]: The following contributions have been made under the "pound for pound" Scheme since its inception in 1975:
£ 1975–76 25,000 1976–77 290,000 1977–78 633,000 1978–79 1,449,000 1979–80 1,665,000 1980–81 1,539,000 1981–82 2,259,000 1982–83 2,360,000 In 1983–84 we expect to spend some £2,390,000. I hope to be able to announce shortly the amount of money we shall be making available in 1984–85.
