HC Deb 24 January 1984 vol 52 cc520-1W
Sir John Biggs-Davison

asked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland if he will refer to the Standing Advisory Commission on Human Rights the discrimination of Gaelic Athletic Association clubs against members of the security forces and invite the commission to make recommendations.

Mr. Prior

I shall draw the commission's attention to the issue raised by my hon. Friend. The commission, which is an independent body, itself decides the issues on which it offers advice.
