HC Deb 24 January 1984 vol 52 c547W
Mr. Hunter

asked the Secretary of State for Transport whether the forms used by driving test examiners to record matters incidental to a test can be made available for inspection after failure in a test by the candidate and the candidate's instructor.

Mrs. Chalker

The present driving test report form is designed for examiners' use only, and is not readily comprehensible by others. The information is summarised for candidates on the statement of failure (DL 24). If exceptionally a candidate needs to know more, he or his instructor can write to the Department's supervising examiner at the traffic area office. But my Department is reviewing the system and considering whether changes need to be made.
