HC Deb 24 January 1984 vol 52 c548W
Mr. McCrindle

asked the Secretary of State for Transport if he will make a statement on the progress made by the committee reviewing the level of compensation payable for death while travelling by air.

Mr. David Mitchell

My right hon. Friend is considering whether the United Kingdom should ratify the Montreal protocols to the Warsaw convention which, if in force, would substantially increase the limit on airline liability for death or injury to passengers.
