Voluntary Aided Schools

Mr. Greenway

asked the Secretary of State for Education and Science if he will list the names of each voluntary aided school within each of the local education authorities of England and Wales.

Mr. Dunn

There were 4,606 maintained schools classified as voluntary aided in England in January 1983. The names of these schools could only be provided at a disproportionate cost.

The details for Wales are the responsibility of my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Wales.
