§ Mr. Alexander FletcherTrade between Austria and individual Community member states is governed by the 1972 agreement between the European Community and the Republic of Austria (Cmnd. 5159), a copy of which is in the Library. The Community also has separate agreements with Austria covering trade in certain agricultural products.
Some member states are authorised by the Commission to retain in force bilateral agreements with Austria which do not conflict with the Community's agreement with Austria or the Community's common commercial policy.
