Mr. Ioan Evans

asked the Secretary of State for Transport (1) if he will make a statement on the proposal to have a feasibility study on the type of second crossing of the Severn;

  1. (2) if he will make a statement on the major repair work to be taken on the Severn bridge;
  2. (3) what consideration he is giving to a proposal for a competition open to construction engineers to design a second crossing of the Severn.
