§ Mr. Gordon Brownasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will detail the policy changes that he has implemented as a result of the joint Scottish Home and Health Department — Scottish Education Department studies (a) changing patterns of care, (b) a better life, (c) vulnerable families and (d) services for the elderly with mental disability in Scotland.
§ Mr. John MacKayAll four reports were considered by the working party on health priorities which produced the report "Scottish Health Authorities Priorities for the Eighties". This recommended priorities for the future provision of health care in Scotland which were endorsed by the Secretary of State. The Scottish Home and Health Department is currently engaged in monitoring each health board's response to this guidance. My right hon. Friend has also given due weight to the relevant recommendations of these four reports in the formulation of social work and housing policies.
