§ Mr. Dubsasked the Prime Minister if she will list those Departments of State, other than the Home Department, which have any responsibilities which relate to(a) the Channel Islands and (b) the Isle of Man.
§ The Prime MinisterHer Majesty's Government retain responsibility for the defence of the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man and for their external relations, including those with the United Kingdom. The Ministry of Defence and the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, respectively, have general responsibility for these matters, and other Departments are involved when a subject raises their particular responsibility.
