§ Mr. Allan StewartMy right hon. Friend has had no recent request for a meeting with the general council of the Scottish Trades Union Congress to discuss unemployment. However he and his ministerial colleagues, including myself, met the STUC several times in November and December to discuss economic and other subjects.
