§ Mr. Nicholas Wintertonasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs whether any decision has yet been taken on ratification of the United Nations convention on the elimination of all forms of discrimination against women.
§ Mr. RentonWe are still considering this convention in the light of our existing legislation and hope to be in a position to make an announcment about ratification soon.
