HC Deb 17 January 1984 vol 52 c183W
22. Mr. Wigley

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what progress has been made during the past month in reconvening the disarmament talks.

Mr. Luce

The Soviet Government have so far not agreed to resume the negotiations in Geneva, nor have they offered dates for the resumption of the talks in Vienna. As we and our NATO allies have frequently made clear, we want the talks to resume as soon as possible.
