§ Mr. Rathboneasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he is now in a position to announce when the report of the panel of experts set up by the committee on the medical aspects of food policy on nutrition and cardiovascular disease will be finalised; and if he will give an assurance that the report and evidence on which it is based will be published.
§ Mr. John PattenThe report of the panel set up by the committee on medical aspects of food policy to examine the relation between nutrition and cardio-vascular disease is due later this year. It is expected that the report will be published and that it will contain such scientific evidence in support of its conclusions as the panel think relevant.
