§ Mr. Michael SpicerThere is some slippage in the plans for privatising British Airways because of the uncertainties created by the application of United States anti-trust law to air services under the Bermuda 2 aviation agreement, including the United States civil law suits following the collapse of Laker Airways. It remains my firm intention, however, to proceed with the privatisation as soon as practicable in the next financial year.
