asked the Solicitor-General for Scotland how many prosecutions for selling cigarettes to children have there been in each of the past five years by each fiscal's area in Scotland.

Statistics of prosecution for contravention of section 18 of the Children and Young Persons (Scotland) Act 1937 are not available. I understand, however, that there have been few such prosecutions.
