§ Mr. John MacKayTable C2.14 of the Registrar General for Scotland's annual report for 1982, a copy of which is in the Library, shows that the lung cancer mortality rates for women in the age groups 55 to 64 and 65 to 74, though not in other age groups, already exceed the corresponding figures for breast cancer. The mortality rates assumed for current population projections are not classified by cause of death.
§ Mr. Kirkwoodasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if the trends in lung cancer mortality in Scottish women over the past 10 years show a significant increase.
