§ Mr. Shersbyasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will report progress on his discussions with the United States Government concerning the abolition of visas for British citizens visiting the United States of America.
§ Mr. WhitneyWe have supported efforts within the framework of European political co-operation to secure the removal of the visa requiremment for nationals of the European Community visiting the United States. Earlier this month the French Presidency made further representations to the United States authorities about this.
