§ Mr. Beithasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department why the National Association of Local Councils was not sent copies of the draft model byelaws on straw burning.
§ Mr. MellorCopies of the draft of the proposed new model byelaws were sent only to the local authority associations which represent authorities empowered to make and enforce these byelaws and fire authorities. I regret that the National Association of Local Councils was not included. It has now been sent a copy.
