HC Deb 27 February 1984 vol 55 c83W
Mr. Frank Field

asked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland which voluntary organisations currently receiving grants from his Department will be receiving reductions in their grants.

Mr. Chris Patten

It is not possible to determine grants to voluntary organisations in the 1984–85 year until financial estimates have been approved by Parliament. When approval has been obtained, negotiations with individual organisations, which take account of their future plans and circumstances and their expected expenditure and income, will have to be completed before decisions can be taken regarding levels of grant.
