§ Mr. Snapeasked the Secretary of State for Transport, pursuant to the answer of the Minister of State on 30 January, Official Report, c. 9, about the trunk road network following the proposed abolition of the Greater London council, which other interests referred to were consulted; and if he will consider extending the consultation period in order to consult residents living on the routes affected.
§ Mrs. ChalkerI have placed in the Library a list of those sent a copy of the consultation paper on the re-allocation of transport responsibilities in greater London. I shall continue to take carefully into account up to the time of reaching final decisions the views of all concerned about any of the matters dealt with therein.
