HC Deb 27 February 1984 vol 55 c56W
Mr. Gwilym Jones

asked the Secretary of State for Wales what was the provisional health allocation for South Glamorgan for 1983–84 compared with the provisional health allocation for 1984–85 now announced in cash terms.

Mr. Wyn Roberts

Provisional cash allocations for 1984–85 to individual district health authorities in Wales have been made for the first time on the basis of a single allocation covering both revenue and discretionary capital. The provisional allocation to the South Glamorgan health authority for 1984–85 is £119.438 million. The comparable figure for 1983–84, taking into account the adjustments to the cash limit in July 1983, is £115.533 million.
