§ Mr. Bottomleyasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs whether Her Majesty's Government will continue to support the multinational force and observers in the Sinai when the present commitment expires at the end of March.
§ Mr. LuceThe multinational force and observers (MFO) have been informed that the United Kingdom will continue to provide a contingent in the Sinai at its present level. This will be for one year initially but, as things stand, the MFO may look forward to our presence for a further year beyond then.
