HC Deb 27 February 1984 vol 55 c21W
34. Mr. Stephen Ross

asked the Secretary of State for Transport whether when considering proposals for the closure of the Settle to Carlisle railway line, he will take into account objections from former users of the line whose services have been diverted to other routes in advance of the proposal to close the line.

Mr. David Mitchell

My right hon. Friend will take account of any representations made to him which are relevant to the decision he has to take on the closure proposal.
