§ Mr. John PattenNo. The preparation of the discussion document "Proposals for nutritional guidelines for health education in Britain" issued by the Health Education Council last year, was an initiative by the National Advisory Committee on Nutrition Education (NACNE). NACNE is a joint British Nutrition Foundation/Health Education Council Committee, the membership of which is drawn from a wide range of nutrition education interests and includes two officials from the Department.
