HC Deb 22 February 1984 vol 54 cc558-9W
32. Mr. Willie W. Hamilton

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what plans he has for official visits to members of the Warsaw pact in the next nine months.

Mr. Rifkind

My right hon. and learned Friend and my right hon. Friend the Prime Minister have just returned from attending the funeral of Mr. Andropov in Moscow. My right hon. and learned Friend has no plans at this stage for further visits to Warsaw pact countries in the next nine months. The question of bilateral official visits, including those to eastern Europe, is however kept under continuous review.
