§ Mr. Wyn RobertsSix local education authorities in Wales are involved with the technical and vocational education initiative (TVEI). Clwyd LEA is already running one of the original 14 pilot schemes and the proposals submitted by Gwent, Gwynedd, Mid Glamorgan, Powys and West Glamorgan LEAs have been accepted, subject to agreement on detailed terms, for the extension of the scheme from September 1984. My right hon. Friend and I are very pleased that the LEAs in Wales have responded so well to this initiative.
