§ Dr. BoysonOn the assumptions used in the Government Actuary's report on the draft of the Social Security (Contributions Re-Rating) Order 1983, Cmnd. 9092, the additional revenue in the United Kingdom, if the married women's option was abolished for 1984–85 would be £320 million in the first full year.
